Who We Are

Performance Tours, established in 1987, is a full-service group tour and travel provider for bands, orchestras, choirs, and other performing groups. We are dedicated to providing customized tours that are educational, enjoyable, within budget, and memorable. Our high-quality tours delight tour participants through careful planning, communication, resourcefulness, creativity, attention to detail, flexibility, and our personal touch.

We can take your group anywhere in the United States and Canada, as well as on cruises and to international destinations, including Europe and China. We offer tours on any mode of transportation, including motorcoach, air, rail, and ship.

Each tour is researched by our experienced group tour specialists and planned with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. Performance Tours takes pride in the experience, knowledge, personality, and commitment of our staff, and would be delighted to serve you.
Meet Our Staff

Michael Pileggi - President
Michael has 35 years of experience in the hospitality, tour, and travel industries, in several states. He holds a degree in hotel administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and has taught numerous college courses in hospitality management, sales, and marketing. He has accompanied hundreds of student performing groups on tour. Michael enjoys traveling, cooking, creating food garnishes, and roller-blading.


Wendy Andberg - Vice President
Before co-founding Performance Tours, Wendy was the director of development for Minnesota Public Radio. She teaches public policy and administration to Ph.D. Students, and oversees university dissertation research, as well as consulting on leadership and organizational development through her firm Andberg and Associates.

Wendy holds a Ph.D. in educational policy and administration from the University of Minnesota, and has been honored for her teaching, leadership, and community service. She enjoys music and traveling.

Brie Pileggi - Group Tour Specialist
Brie holds an M.S. degree in clinical psychology from Capella University, and a B.S. degree in psychology and Spanish, with a minor in foreign studies, from the University of Minnesota. She studied abroad in both Mexico and Spain, and spent several months backpacking across Europe.

Brie is a former sheriff's detention deputy, who left law enforcement to join the family business, in which she was raised and has worked part-time during her high school and college years. Brie enjoys cooking, traveling, SCUBA diving, and kayaking. She also volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and is a Spanish instructor.

Pam Caswell - Bookkeeper
Pam has worked over 15 years in office management, accounting, and customer service in small business. She studied liberal arts at the University of Minnesota - Morris, and earned an accounting and business management degree from St. Cloud Business College. She enjoys volunteering at school, home decorating, shopping, biking, and fishing.

SYTA is a non-profit, professional trade association whose mission is to promote and support integrity and professionalism among student and youth travel service providers and to promote quality student/youth travel services that enhance social, cultural, and educational growth.

Performance Tours is a member of the National Tour Association (NTA), North America's premier association for group and packaged travel. We have met strict standards for membership, uphold a code of ethics, participate in continuing education, and maintain $1 million in professional liability insurance coverage.

MMEA - www.mmea.org
The Minnesota Music Educators Association's mission is to provide high-quality music education for every student in Minnesota. To achieve this mission, MMEA provides various resources for its 2,000+ members, including an annual in-service conference and a quarterly magazine Interval. The MMEA sponsors All-State band, choirs, orchestras, and jazz ensembles, and provides opportunities for the students of its music-teacher members to enrich their musical experiences through elementary and junior high school festivals. In addition, MMEA sponsors an annual retreat for collegiate chapter members, and advocates for music education through a variety of efforts.
